I find it amazing how much positivity seems to surround Brian these days.
I guess even J.Hoberman wrote a really positive review - it's been a while since I've seen that.
I think some of the serious books that have been written about him lately - Becoming Visionary and Un-American Psycho- have presented very convincing arguments for his re-evaluation. More academic attention and praise make it a lot harder for serious critics to dismiss him, I think. Hoberman even talked a lot about the book.
I mean, take a look at the comments here for instance:
