Some people think I'm crazy for suggesting it. Either way, I'm happy it's become more appreciated over time. Seems to be a pattern with De Palma films.

Some people think I'm crazy for suggesting it. Either way, I'm happy it's become more appreciated over time. Seems to be a pattern with De Palma films. It’s a masterpice.

The Black Dahlia 14. Obsession 15. Wise Guys It is interesting that you put Wise Guys and Home Movies in top 15, Greetings instead of Him Mom! No Phantom, or Unteachables. But putting Domino at 9, seriously man. It is easily his worst, by far far far. Even him doesn't want to talk about it. That been said, not a bad movie, and even his worst is better than most others' successes. But for the Maestro, I consider it not up to his God-like standards

The film has some weak shots and scenes, but the good parts are quite exceptional pure cinema! And, I must say, the red carpet scene as well as the use of split-screen for it was quite inspired. Horrifying but inspired. Honestly, Phantom of the Paradise is not really my cup of tea and I like, but don't love The Untouchables. That's what's great about De Palma. His filmography is varied and our favorites should be a little different.
