Hey all,
I hope this is okay for me to post. If not feel free to remove it. I am co-writing a book on the making of "Carrie" with Fangoria writer Lee Gambin. It's called Blood Among the Stars: The Making of "Carrie" and it will cover all incarnations of the story with the prime focus being Brian De Palma's film. It will probably be out sometime next year.
We have interviewed almost all of the key cast and crew members involved with the making of this film, including Brian De Palma, Stephen King, Sissy Spacek, Piper Laurie, and Nancy Allen, and we are hard at work making this book the best it can be for De Palma fans, King fans, and horror fans in general.
I was absolutely thrilled to have the chance to speak with Mr. De Palma. It was truly a dream come true for me, and he is a very nice man. He was tremendously helpful, and I thought I would post about this here because I know you all will be very interested to see what he had to say!
